Quilts for Soldiers - Part 1

Did you see last night's CBS Evening News and Cynthia Bowers' report about a woman making jeans quilts for the wounded soldiers? If not, here's the link -- http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/03/07/eveningnews/main2545059.shtml?source=search_story

In a gist, she now has plenty of donated blue jeans to make the quilts, but could sure use quilting supplies (low loft crib size, machine quilting thread in blue or any color) and money for postage. A quilt out of denim/jeans can be heavy so I'm sure postage is $$$. I mailed a check to her today.
