I have a huge collection of CrockPot cookbooks! Addictive! Though I must bow down at the feet of Mable Hoffman, the CrockPot Guru-ess. One of my favorites is her Crockery Cookery, the revised paperback edition from 1995. (I still have the receipt from Venture tucked inside -- also purchased that day were pillow covers, chocolate graham crackers, Lever soap and "Ants in the Pants"!)
My favorites from this book are the Chicken and Dumplings, Red Beans and Rice.
I have also tried the Beef Burritos, Pot Roast with Creamy Mushroom Sauce, Beef Stroganoff.
Though when you pluck the book from my shelf, it opens automatically to the Chicken and Dumplings!
