May showers bring June flowers

Finally the rain has stopped enough to put some new additions in the garden --

These are nicknamed, "Whirling Butterflies" Isn't that a great name? (Pink Cloud Gaura Lindheumerl). It's a Houston native so it should be very happy here.

And this is Pavonia Rock Rose, another repeat winner for me. It's really a brighter pink. I had one years ago and they get snatched up quickly at Another Place in Time. I lucked out, they just had a delivery of them. It loves the sun and poor soil, and is drought resistant.

Heliotrope is looking pretty and good! I wish it was cutable so I could bring in the yummy licorice/vanilla scent indoors, but it starts to wilt almost immediately. And the thraylis is blooming away.
