I love this potholder! It's about 22 years old, from a craft show, and used to be part of a set of two--until one burned (better it than my hand!). It's just the right size and flexible. I've tried others and they were too stiff, too unwieldy or fell apart in the washing machine. I thought one made from denim would offer protection and a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon, avoiding the heat outside.
With an outgrown pair of L's jeans, couple layers of batting, the Viking 1100's quilting stitch (F2) and an embellished Pictogram flower in the center...I'm good to go!
