Just appeared at the cereal endcap at my Costco - Spiced Pecan Cereal. A 34 ounce 2-bag box (bless them, I hate the one big bag boxes) for $6.49. And what you see on the box is what you get inside -- all of the pecans were whole, the granola clusters bigger than a quarter. Smells and tastes great. If you like cinnamon, this is for you. Good for you, too -- 3/4 cup serving is 190 calories, 7g fat, 0.5 sat, 100mg sodium, 33g carb, 5g protein, 70% calcium, 10% iron, only 11g sugar and 7g of fiber! (stats are without milk)
It has too much calcium for those that like to drink and eat dairy products. I accidentally bought this without looking in-depth at the nutritional facts and saw how much calcium carbonate they put in it. 700 mg of calcium! wow! With the added cup of milk, that would come out to 1000 mg which is the 100% daily recommended value. That means I could only be able to drink 1 and a half cup of milk to stay within the DV and not put risk of kidney stones or other ailments associated with too much calcium. They say you may go up to 2000-2500 mg of calcium before it becomes toxic but I would rather not take any chances.
