Celebrating the red white and blue with patriotic tried and true
I love the tonal stripe seer-sucker and found the dark red/red on sale 60% off this time. I discovered when it is difficult to tell the right and wrong side apart and you are applying bias binding, put the side that is curling up on top so when you roll it to the underside, it behaves better.
I used Burda 7966 for the Hello Kitty bottoms - the View C shorts for L and the View B capris for me. I straightened the legs so they didn't taper as much as my previous version and added side slits to be more like the Nick & Nora's. The top is Burda 8134.
