"Man of the Year" 4 stars! I liked it better than I thought I would. Very well written and directed. Probably the reason for its short run in the theaters was bad promotion and misleading positioning as a comedy. It is more of a political thriller instead. Of course, any time you give Robin Williams the reins, you are in for a hilarious ride. You could easily watch it again just to catch all his lines. Be sure to check out the special features - both of them showcase the talent and behind the scenes. You'll also see Robin's other scene takes/do-overs. Director Barry Levinson had his hands full deciding what to cut and keep. Laura Linney was perfectly cast in her role, and Christopher Walken was classic. An eclectic blog of many things!
