1/5 stars -- A made-for-HBO movie and the one that is getting all the buzz and awards for Drew Barrymore. What we watched of it, she did give a great performance. But movies about the mentally ill are disturbing to me, and we stuck it back in the envelope after about 30 minutes.

1/5 stars -- A made-for-HBO movie and the one that is getting all the buzz and awards for Drew Barrymore. What we watched of it, she did give a great performance. But movies about the mentally ill are disturbing to me, and we stuck it back in the envelope after about 30 minutes.

Hi Peggy!!! OMG... 1/5 from you??? This is one of my FAVORITE movies! Drew was SLAM ON as Little Edie... I LOVED everything about it... although I thought it was more of a Mother/daughter relationship thing than mentally ill thing... the lives of the "elite"/American "royalty"...
Sorry you didn't like it... :o(
